This type of mounting system is called a Beauchene Mount and is not an easy one to come by, can cost thousands of dollars and still would not have met some of the required story points... so I had one made. I think the final product looks more intricate than others I'd seen. It employs dozens of rare-earth magnets so we had the ability to show a progression of the display through different stages, frequently between scenes that were shooting consecutively and (of course) out of chronological script order.
